Mussels Fry



Ingredients :

Mussels - 500 gms ( Cleaned thoroughly )
Onion - Little ( for garnishing )
Turmeric Powder  - 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
Curry leaves - Little
Salt to taste
Oil - 3 to 4 tablespoons

Marinate :

Take the Cleaned Mussels, add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and little salt. Mix all the following Ingredients together and keep aside for around half an hour.

Method :

Take a non stick pan, and add oil. When the oil in hot, add mustard seeds and curry leaves and allow it to splutter. NOw add the marinated mixture to the oil, and keep sauteing it .Check for salt and allow it to get fried nicely. Just sprinkle some water , and allow the mussels to fry a bit more that it cooks good. YOu can see the mixture nice and crispy. Now its done. Garnish it with some thin sliced Onion.

For better taste, squeeze some lime on the mussels and try it.
