Ingredients :
Prawns - 10 to 15 large pieces ( cleaned )
Soya sause - 1 table spoon
Salt - to taste
Maida / All purpose flour - 2 tablespoon
Corn flour - 1 table spoon
Oil - for deep frying + 2 tablespoon for preparing the mixture
capsicum - 1 large ( cut into cubes )
Green chillies - 2 finely chopped
Ginger and garlic - 1 tablespoon each ( finely chopped / crushed )
Tomato ketchup - 2 table spoon
Vinegar - 1 teasppon
Spring onions - few ( finely chopped ) for garnishing
Chicken stalk - 1 cup
Preparation :
In a bowl, add prawns, soya sauce, little salt to taste, maida and corn flour and mix together. Heat more oil in a shallow pan and fry the prawns and keep aside.
Method :
Remove the oil from the pan, and with just 2 tablespoons of oil start making the mixture. Add crushed ginger and garlic in the oil, finely chopped green chillies,capsicum, vinegar and tomato ketchup and mix it well.Pour little chicken stalk for the mixture to cook a bit. Now add the fried prawns in the mixture and stir it well and take it as a dry gravy if you want to eat it as starters. Check for salt and add. Remove it from the pan and garnish it with spring onions.
Tasty tangy Sweet chilli prawns is ready !! Serve it hot !!
Note : You can make the dry dish a bit more of gravy by adding more chicken stalk in the mixtureLeave it to boil for few seconds.
