Fish Cutlets

Ingredients :

Fish Fillets - 250 gms ( 2 large pieces )
Onion - 1 large ( finely chopped )
Cilantro - little ( finely chopped )
Green chillies - 2 big ( finely chopped )
Red chilli powder - to taste
Garam masala - to taste
Salt - to taste
Egg white - 2 Eggs
Bread Crumbs - Sufficient to coat all the cutlets.
Oil - very small amount

Preparation :

Take the 2 large fillets, and in a non stick Dosa tava, cook the fillet for 3 minutes each side until the fish is fullt cooked and turns white in color. Remove it from the tava, and keep it in a large bowl, cool it and make it into fine flakes ( smash it )  using your hand.

Method :

Once you mashed the fish well in the bowl, add the finely chopped onion to it and mix well. Add the green chillies, cilantro, red chilli powder, garam masala, and salt respectively and mix everything together well like a dough. Check for the salt and add if needed.
Now take two bowls, one with 2 egg whites, and other with bread crumbs.
Now make small patties ( like vadai ) out of the dough and keep it aside in a plate. Now take one pattie and dip it in the egg white and coat it with bread crumbs all over the pattie and keep it aside in a plate. Repeat the process to all the patties, by dipping first in the egg white and then coat it with bread crumbs and keep it aside.
Once all the patties are coated well, Take the same dosa tava, add little oil in it, and shallow fry the patties in both sides.you dont have to cook it too much as the fish is already cooked. Just fry the patties until golden brown and remove it from the tava.

Tasty and Yummy Fish Cutlets ready !! It tastes best when served hot !!
